One After School Program Director Flexible Hours (Split Shift )
Director : To plan, direct, and supervise all after school programs and staff.
Define after school goals and/ or define and plan program to reflect after school goals; Originate and carry out a system for recruiting students and staff utilizing brochures, telephone calls, reunions, hot prospect lists; Prepare and conduct after school and in-service staff training; Set and supervise office procedures, opening-and closing-day procedures for staff and students; Develop routines, schedules, and procedures for after school operation; Assign staff activities and other responsibilities; Supervise and evaluate, or supervise evaluations of, all operations and program staff; Maintain and review records and evaluations of all programs, operations, staff, and facilities; Define and monitor crisis management plan, including emergency procedures; Organize and/ or approve trips out for program, supplies, and crisis management; Monitor safety and all procedures as they pertain to the complete supervision of all students and staff. Must be able to work flexible hours morning, evenings and Saturdays hours
Requirement: Masters Degree in Education or an equivalent degree, or experience in a after school program as a manger, director, senior recreational professional. After school tutoring,Instructional and or teaching experience necessaryEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
